OVERVIEW

In my first 2 weeks with LineTen I was tasked with a redesign of their delivery applications. The apps were considered dated and tired looking, the design was by developers. What was required was a product that was punchy and stood out in a crowded market place, one that also provided a great user experience.

  • Non existent, leading to extremley poor data return and continuity.

ERROR VALIDATION

  • Poor and confusing.

Bolder, fresher and with a phone app look & feel.

UX optimisation & rebrand of the sign up journey

DYNAMIC FORMS?

Not dynamic, context lost with some fields not needed due to certain selections. Creates

friction where it is not needed.


LOCALISATION?

  • No country of residence selection to give field names the correct terminology e.g. Zip code or Post code.

ERROR MESSAGING

  • Non existent, leading to extremley poor data return and continuity.

By making 'Country of residence' the first selection field. All proceeding fields can become more contextual for a better experience for the user.


Manual address entry added as an alternative to postcode/zipcode lookup.

Added for better feedback to the user of when the page isn’t just hanging in mid air.

Free gift – icon added in teal.

CTAs – now have 20 pixels affordance gap.
